Today's Forecast: Sunny and 75!
It's been a hot minute since I've blogged, so I wanted to fill you all in on what's going on at Eliza Ash. We have officially been open for 3 months! WOO! We have all of you to thank for this dream come true! It sounds cliché, but we really do have the best customers. It's been a blessing to get to know many of you, and we are extremely grateful for the friendships we've made so far and continue to make every day!
The closer we get to warmer months, the more excited I am for longer days and putting events on my calendar! We have a few of our own happening right here in our store. Join us this Thursday, March 10th, for an after-hours yoga class for beginners! It will begin at 6:30pm and last 45 minutes to an hour. We met our instructors, Monica and Sabra, when they dropped in the store to pick out some pieces to feature in their new lifestyle blog, Alive with Style! They currently teach group fitness classes in and around the North Raleigh area. Stick around for a store-wide discount afterwards for all participants!
We are also underway with planning our big St. Baldrick's event! Mark your calendars for Saturday, April 30th! We have partnered with the St. Baldrick's Foundation, local businesses and the best band in the area, Four Founders, to help raise money in honor of sweet Georgia. My dear friends, Emma Carol Lewis & Ashton Smith babysat Georgia throughout our time in college while she was battling Leukemia. After a long fight, Georgia passed away in December 2015 at age 7. Our event is a celebration of life and an effort to raise money for childhood cancer research. Come out and eat, drink, shop and listen to some great live music! Find Emma Carol and Ashton's fundraising campaigns below if you feel compelled to read their stories and see how they are giving back!
Emma Carol Lewis is "braving the shave" on April 9th at Raleigh Beer Garden downtown Raleigh. Here is the link to read her story and donate.
Ashton Smith is planning an Anchor Run in honor or Georgia. She is currently accepting donations to make this event possible. Find her link here.
